WATERLOO. (Lille 1610 - Utrecht 1690)
We know little about his artistic formation. He is believed to be
an autodidact wo lived in the time of people like Jacob Van
Ruysdaal and Herman Safltleven. His etchings contained motifs
observed in Germany, Belgium and Italy. There are a total of 136
etchings attributed to him. It is known this artist made
sometimes some details of the etching stronger with the burin.
